Fee Refunds

In an effort to continually improve Scholar's Edge and to make it easier for you to save for your child's future, Scholar's Edge will be issuing fee refunds to eligible account owners.

The New Mexico State Education Board is refunding administrative fees 1 associated with Scholar's Edge to eligible account owners. For eligibility, you simply have to meet the criteria below:

  • The account owner must be a New Mexico resident with a current and valid New Mexico street address on file with the plan's program manager
  • An eligible account must be open and have a balance at the time the refund is processed

If you are eligible for the refund, an automatic credit will be applied to your account and will appear on your next account statement after the refund has been processed. 1 Eligible accounts will continue to be charged underlying investment fees and program management fees and there will be no refund of these fees.
